Tips and strategy for hard levels
Patterns from every level, turned into habits that make hard boards easier.
Hard levels in Words of Wonders: Hexa have bigger honeycombs and more slots. These tips are based on patterns across all 4,914 English levels.
1. Find the long word first
In 18% of levels, the longest answer uses every tile on the honeycomb. If a slot is as long as your tile count, you're looking for a word that uses all the letters. Once it's on the board, it gives you crossing letters for nearly every other slot.
2. Let the honeycomb narrow things down
Letters must be neighbours to sit next to each other in a word. Before you guess, trace the tiles: if an S sits at the edge next to only two letters, any word with an S in the middle has to pass through one of those two.
3. Try endings
9% of English answers end in S, 4% in ED and 2% in ING. If you have those tiles, try adding them to the words you already have.
4. Know the short words
Most levels include a few three-letter answers. These are the most frequent:
